Typical Care Plans

What does post-op MLD usually look like by procedure?

These are typical starting plans, not patient results. The surgeon’s protocol always comes first.

Abdomen, flanks and back

Liposuction / Lipo 360

Start once the surgeon clears it, often within the first one to two weeks
Often two to three 60 minute sessions a week early on, tapering as swelling settles
Garment back on right after each session

Side-lying only, no pressure on grafted areas

Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL)

Drain the donor sites (abdomen, flanks, back) and protect the graft
No sitting or lying on the buttocks during treatment
Session length and frequency follow the surgeon's protocol

Flexed, supported positioning

Abdominoplasty (Tummy Tuck)

Usually starts later than lipo, once the incision is stable and the surgeon approves
Directional drainage away from the incision line, with drains respected
Often paired with gentle upper-body pathway work
